we do next?”
“I think, um, maybe we could try a smaller launch first, because there are a few risks.”

02 / KNOW WHERE YOU STAND
Your VOCEN score brings five speaking skills into focus. Each gets its own reading, so you can see where your next practice belongs.
VOCEN SCORE
EXAMPLE
Strong
intermediate.
Not enough speech to measure a skill? It stays blank. Your score tracks personal progress; it is not an official language certificate.
The goal is to say what you mean, when it matters. Keep practising, see which skills move, and hear the difference in your own voice.
Six fillers a minute, and long pauses landing in the middle of sentences — right where a listener expects you to continue. Fluency is the weakest of the five.
The pauses moved to the ends of clauses, where they read as thinking rather than as searching. Same speed, different impression. Vocabulary is now the thing holding the score down.
Your point comes earlier. Your answer feels more deliberate. Your recordings give you something concrete to compare.
Illustrative progression from a demo profile. Your pace and results will vary.
SOUND LIKE YOURSELF. ONLY CLEARER.
Clear English doesn't have one accent. VOCEN focuses on how easily people understand you, so your practice helps your ideas come through.
A quick check-in before work. A focused daily plan. A rehearsal for the conversation on your calendar. Choose the depth that fits today.
One question, 60 seconds, one insight. You leave knowing which skill moved.
The check-in plus the drill chosen for you, plus the phrases due today.
Rehearse the actual meeting or interview, scored on English and on whether your point landed.
Your first 60 seconds becomes the reference every later session is compared against — with an honest confidence band and no invented improvement.
Type the sentence you struggled with. Get three ways to say it, each with the reason it lands differently — then say your favourite out loud and have it measured.
Phrases taken from your own recordings, brought back for review on a schedule, and graded on whether you can produce them — not just recognise them.
Your score over time, which skills moved, how many minutes you actually spoke. Below three sessions the statistics stay hidden rather than being softened.
Pro historyScenarios built around your actual role, scored twice: your English, and whether the message landed — clarity, structure, tone.

Get VOCEN ProIt goes to private storage only your account can read, it is transcribed and analysed, and then it is deleted — at the latest 24 hours after you made it. The score and the feedback stay. The sound of your voice does not.
If you turn on before / after, VOCEN keeps up to 20 recordings so you can hear the difference, deletes anything older than 30 days, and gives you one button that removes all of them.

No. It is a 0–100 measurement for tracking your own speaking over time. It is built to be honest against itself, not to be accepted by anyone else. No school, employer or immigration office recognises it, and we don't suggest otherwise.
Because one minute you actually record every day beats a 20-minute test you take twice a year. A session needs 25 seconds of real speech to count at all, and the confidence band tells you honestly how sure the result is.
No. Pronunciation is scored on how clearly you are understood, using the sounds you actually produced. Sounding American or British earns you nothing. What lowers the score is a sound that changes the word, or one that makes a listener stop and re-run the sentence in their head.
Recording works anywhere. Analysis needs a connection, because it runs on servers rather than on your phone. If you are offline, the app says so plainly and holds the recording instead of throwing it away.
In App Store settings on your iPhone, or from Profile → Subscription in the app, which takes you to the same place. Apple handles the billing and any refunds; we never see your card. Cancelling stops the next payment, and Pro stays active until the period you already paid for ends.
